Our Heavenly Dachshunds is a small, miniature dachshund kennel owned by Bart Murtaugh in Newton, Iowa. Our mission is to lovingly breed and raise dachshund puppies for beauty, temperament and excellent health to be loving pets from our heart and home to yours.

We only sell our puppies as pets and not for breeding purposes. You must have your pet spayed or neutered.

All of our ‘ladies’ are half sisters from the same sire, and we use Magnum to sire each litter which is why there is such a high standard of beauty and temperament in all of our puppies.

Without exception, every person who purchased a puppy said they got more than they ever imagined. It can seem like an eternity while waiting those first eight weeks to take your pup home, so during that time, we’ll send regular ‘pupdates’ including photos, weight, comments and videos.

Also during those weeks, your puppy will experience car rides, trips to the vet, starter shots, socialization with other dogs and lots of playtime! When you pick them up, we’ll provide worming and vaccine records, a written vet exam and certificate of health, and some other goodies to get you started.
